Western Museum of Mining and Industry Members include donors from more than 20 states who share a loyal dedication to our mission and educational programs. Their generous contributions help support the preservation of our vast collection of artifacts and machinery, keep the extensive grounds well-maintained and accessible for visitors, and ensure that the historic interpretation and educational activities are authentic and accessible.

Since its founding in 1970, the Western Museum of Mining and Industry has made mining history come alive for scores of visitors. Maintaining the tradition of carefully preserved machinery and hands-on educational programs requires the support of many contributors. Membership Levels

Individual Membership ($30)

  • Free admission for one individual
  • 10% discount on purchases at museum shop
  • Exclusive invitations to previews of exciting new exhibits, and member-only events
  • Quarterly newsletter and annual report
  • Use of the museum library

Individual Plus Membership ($40)
Individual membership benefits plus:

  • Membership Admission includes: 1 individual plus a guest

Family Membership ($50)
Individual membership benefits plus:

  • Family memberships have no limit to size, but they must be immediate family
  • Birthday party privileges

"MINING HERITAGE" SUPPORT LEVELS:

In addition to membership benefits, Mining Heritage Supporters receive additional recognition for their support, including listing in museum publications - newsletters, website and annual report.

Centennial Membership ($100)
Family membership benefits plus:

  • Listing on quarterly newsletter
  • 20% discount on museum publications

Silver Medallion Membership ($250)
Family membership benefits plus:

  • Reserved seating at lectures

Gold Medallion Membership ($500)
Family membership benefits plus:

  • Curator-led tour of behind-the-scenes stored collections

Benefactor Membership ($1,000):
Family membership benefits plus:

  • Invitations to private receptions with historians or guest lecturers and the Director.
